Nice Checkered Flag Racing Cupcakes

This is a sponsored post service past times Challenge butter, but the text in addition to opinions are all mine. Thank you lot for supporting brands that construct possible!

I accept e'er wondered how people made dual-flavored swirled frosting, in addition to at ane time that I know, I've been sharing the information with everyone! You tin work whatsoever 2 flavors of frosting for your swirls, but since we're only a few days out from the Indianapolis 500, I wanted to work the technique to construct checkered flag racing cupcakes.

I started past times making a basic vanilla buttercream frosting. I in addition to thus took one-half of that frosting in addition to made it chocolate buttercream only past times adding cocoa pulverization in addition to a petty to a greater extent than heavy cream.

I in addition to thus set out a canvas of plastic twine in addition to used a spatula to spread the 2 frostings side past times side. I folded ane side over the other in addition to stuck the whole matter into a pastry pocketbook fitted with a 1M swirl pipage tip. And that's it! To make the iconic swirl look, concord your pipage pocketbook upright in addition to over the oculus of the cupcake. Apply pull per unit of measurement area in addition to receive down circling the exterior edge. Continue squeezing in addition to add together some other layer of frosting working toward the center. Finish the spiral inwards the real oculus only past times releasing pull per unit of measurement area in addition to lifting up!

You tin work this frosting technique on whatsoever season of cupcake or with whatsoever flavors of frosting. In fact, you lot tin fifty-fifty work to a greater extent than than 2 frosting flavors! I recommend pipage the frosting onto a plate starting fourth dimension though to construct certain the flavors are coming out evenly earlier you lot position it on a cupcake.
